BAM-Business as Mission

“shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matt. 5:16

Business as Mission (BAM) is a movement that blends faith and business to serve a higher purpose. It promotes building successful, sustainable businesses that reflect the values of the Kingdom of God—businesses that transform lives spiritually, economically, and socially while glorifying God.

Our Contribution to BAM in Pakistan

Mr. Nasir Sharazi is the first author in Pakistan to write a complete book on Business as Mission (BAM). Through his book “BAM – Business as Mission,” he introduced and established BAM as a powerful model for Christian entrepreneurship and community transformation in Pakistan.

Along with a strong and dedicated team—including Mr. Farhan Ayub, Rizwan Iqbal, Rasheed Assi, Karamat Sehotra, and others—Nasir Sharazi has been leading seminars, workshops, and training programs across Pakistan to educate and empower Christian youth, business professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs with the principles of BAM.

This team’s mission is clear:
To inspire Christians to use business as a tool for God’s glory and for the long-term development of their families, churches, and communities.

What Is Business as Mission?

Business as Mission sees business not just as a means of earning profit but as a God-given platform to advance His mission on earth. A BAM business practices excellence, integrity, and compassion, using its influence to bring positive change.
A BAM business aims to:

  • Uses resources wisely
  • Makes decisions with purpose
  • Avoids waste and misuse
  • Plans for the future
  • Helps others through generosity
  • Works with excellence
  • Honors God with every part of life

A Real & Viable Model

It is built on strong business principles, ethical standards, and solid financial management that lead to:

Profit is essential—not as the ultimate purpose, but as the engine that sustains the mission and expands the impact.

  • Honesty & Integrity
  • Compassion & Justice
  • Excellence & Responsibility
  • Service & Stewardship

Its goal is to uplift individuals, strengthen families, empower communities, and contribute to real transformation.
